Broome Rodeo’s pick-up riders had their work cut out trying to wrangle a streaker who made his way into the ring to raucous cheers from the crowd.

The man ran onto the field from the bar end between events and found his way across the ring with ease.

It was then that the pick-up riders — on the field to collect bucking horses after they had disposed of their riders — were spurred into action to clean up the rogue gentleman.

It was a moment that had the crowd in feverish applause, though the rodeo announcer made it clear over the PA system that “we don’t condone this”.
